As one of those "real life" users I can heartily recomend the
KAT5 modules!
They have set my ShowShifter machine free! :-)

I can now record programs on my video server machine in the study and play
them back (over CAT5) in my bedroom.

In case anyone hasn't seen it yet there's a review of the modules on my
