[KAT5] High Definition

Just thought I'd let you know that Sky hi-definition looks great on
my projector through the component outputs on the SkyHD box.  I'm
pumping the three components through my Kat5-RGB (I had the
luck/foresight to have the phono connectors version of the Kat5
rather than scart which made it easier).  I'm using the spare video
connector for DVD over composite (and I can barely tell the
difference from the DVD component).  Also bear in mind that my
projector isn't even HD-ready, only HD-compatible.

It's a pity that HD component has a limited life-span because its
much easier to handle than HDMI/DVI.  If they must insist on
copy-protection and a digital signal, why-oh-why didn't they use
fibre as a standard.  These days surely it's almost as cheap as
copper and has so many advantages.
