John,

Don't get too jealous mate - Mine's just a 3 bed semi as well, and as for
the
£4995 TV, well, I hope I didn't give the impression that I have that kind
of
money just lying around waiting for me to find something nice to spend it
on! - 'Cos I don't!! I think I mentioned that such an expensive TV (or
projector, or Whatever I finally decide to go with..) would be a NEXT YEAR
purchase, - 'cos it's gonna take me that long to save up the cash (and
probably even longer to persuade the wife that it's a justifiable
purchase!!
- she'll probably want a new kitchen instead!)

The great thing about HA is that you can indeed just start off with a
couple
of modules, and just add (and add, and add) to it over time, as I have
done.
Far from being jealous of all these guys with FANTASTIC looking houses
(well, perhaps a bit!) I am inspired to attempt bigger & better things
-
usually things that are bigger & better than either my salary or my
wife can
bear!!

I'm at least a little fortunate that as I work in the IT industry, I am
privvy to hardware & software on a very low cost, and occasionally free
basis, which means I have to spend very little on PC stuff, and so have
more
of my "spare" cash to spend on true HA stuff...

Regards.

Paul Gordon.
