Thought the following article might be of general interest. Seems to be a
sort of home vision meets comfort systems... Lets hope someone takes up the
challenge to be a UK distributor!

"Swedish electronics firm PCTVnet will launch a multi-function set-top
box in the U.K. in the third quarter. Dubbed Homepilot, the box will offer
'Smart Home' functions enabliong users to control lights, kitchen devices
and security systems from within the home or remotely.
PCTVnet is looking for U.K. partners to market the pilot. Horrald Jellum,
company founder hopes consumer companies will deliver the boxes to
consumers either heavily subsidised -- as with mobile phones -- or for
free.
The system uses existing power lines and telephone lines as well as
wireless. A Bluetooth design is expected next year. "
