Re: Comfort - choosing a DECT phone
Hi Andrew,
Sorry I cant help with this one.
Despite having worked for BT for 23 years, my involvement with telephones
as an occupation ended 3 years ago. All my work these days is involved with
Intranet/Internet mainly developing and integrating database applications
with a web front end.
The closes I have come to a DECT phone is posting one off to Mark !!!
I havent even used one. At home I have a PBX with 2 lines and I am never
more than an arms length away from a phone :-))

If a DECT phone has a built-in delay above 2 seconds then it is unlikely to
provide sign-in access for Comfort but will work fine for all other Comfort
functions. BT Phones are one of the worst on this score.
Alcatel 'Easy' is ok though.

Maybe Keith might know why some DECT phones exhibit this kind of behaviour?
