I have a the timer switched to 24 hours and the timings then controlled by
HomSeer using X10. I have a DS1820 monitoring temperature in the living
room. Ideally I will use this as my thermostat. All I need is to set limits
and have the X10 switch go on and off acording to the temp in the room. I
will also have 'on for an hour' and 'off for an hour' switches (X10 and
Pronto) because I couldn't rely on a temperature probe all the time,
sometimes you just *feel* too hot/cold.

Michael,

How are you controlling the heating? Are you using an X-10 thermostat
device
to control the temperature setting and an appliance module to control the
timing of the boiler? Or have you got a more complicated control set-up.
This sounds like what I would like to do but have not had time to look at
the thermostats/controllers available.

TIA

Steve

I now have my heating wired to an appliance module. I have X10 control of
the heating through my Pronto remote and also HomeSeer timings. I want to
install an SS13E switch beside the existing timer to give a greater level
of
control. I plantg to use HomeSeer Macros with the switch so therefore I
have
6 possible actions. I expect I will use ON and OFF for the first two but I
would like a BOOST button of some kind. Does anyone have any experience of
this using HomeSeer? Any ideas for the other buttons/macros ?
