Taking some of the points raised.......
Market size ?
I dont honestly know. Look how many people arent even aware of SCART leads=
=20
to connect TV & Video together. I believe the market will grow just as
the=
=20
HA market is growing.
Existing Products
Several makes of similar products exist now. ( When I built the first=20
prototypes I was only aware of one manufacturer and their composite
video=20
product was about 150 quid per box). I pointed someone at Amulet=20
Electronics the other day, and I notice that major AV companies like
Extron=
=20
are now launching ranges of CAT5 capable stuff.
The biggest hurdle is just the time to do the work although I am now=20
determined to get them out there.
