Just come across this - don't know if it's any help. Dabs sell a USB to
parallel converter (BKNPF) for =A325 - it looks like the plug off a
paralle=
l
lead, but with a USB female socket where the lead would be and is designed
to connect a non-USB printer to a USB port.

I don't know how USB works at the PC end, but presumably the printer
adapto=
r
will only work in the first place if the PC can make the USB port look like
an old fashioned printer port?
