If you run procmail, add
:0 fw
* X-eGroup.*
sed '/---* eGroup.*/,/-*-_->$/d'
to your .procmailrc, and the adverts magically disappear. While the
adverts were at the bottom, I put up with them - when they moved to the
top, they annoyed me sufficiently for me to get round to deleting them.
Getting back on topic, I'm starting to look at automating some of the
lighting at home. I'm not keen on X10, because it doesn't seem to give
me feedback, won't allow me to say "start at 50%", and seems
quite slow.
Am I justified in these thoughts? The main problem I have is getting
signals to the light fittings - we've got underfloor heating throughout,
so I can't lift floorboards upstairs.
I'd appreciate any comments.
Cheers,
Colin.
