I have the Visonic 4 channel receiver and lovely transmitters
http://www.comfort.org.uk/images/mct1342.jpg
They are FANTASTIC!! Our drive is about 400 feet long and I was more than
please when they worked at the end of it (I use them to open or grage doors
and this now menas that they are well open by the time you get to them).

Even better than that, they work down the road before the house even comes
into view. This is a longer range than my DECT phones (which outside is
300 - 500M from memory?).

Highly recommended.
