Are you sure about that? There is no digital connection - only SCART.
I suppose the undecoded stream could be sent over SCART, but it seems
a bit improbable. If it does, then I'll look into getting a digibox.

It will record ordinary analogue RF signals - there's an option
during the setup process - and it looks as if this will co-exist with
cable/digibox fine. Since there are two IR emitters supplied, I also
reckon the TiVo can be simultaneously configured for three sources -
RF, digibox and cable - although I don't have that configuration
myself, so I haven't tried it.

One of the features I like about the TiVo is that you get digibox-
style banners telling you what the current programme is, even on
terrestial - nice!

(The Sky lot aren't very clued up on the technical capabilities of
TiVo, by the way. They categorically told me it would record
subtitles, for example. If you have a specific requirement, take what
they say with a pinch of salt).

Medium quality can be a "bit" grainy - probably wouldn't suit
purists, but fine for recording, say, soap.

Best quality is better than VHS, I reckon.
