Lo chaps

Ive recently been running cables for Whole Home Audio using speaker cable
from a central switchbox.
The cable i was using was from CPC on special offer, so i bought 2 100m
drums thinking it would be enough (fool)
Anyway.....basically i ran out :O(
So i called CPC to order some more, guess what......they sold out (arse)

The stuff i have been using is 42 strand, so i searched for an equivalent
in
the current CPC catalogue. but i couldnt find 42 strand....they were all
listed in a differnt way

12,14,16 AWG (Americal wire gauge) ?
6,10,15,25A (Amps) ?
7,13,32,42,79 x 0.2mm (so many strands of 0.2mm wire)

I havent been able to cross reference them ..
ie what is 42 strand in AWG ? or A ???

Help !! i only have one more run to do, and this lack of knowledge is
holding the job up :(
