ADSL - nearly here!!

I just got an email from BT Openworld telling me that I can have my ADSL
fitted anytime from now on - 8 day lead time typically, so I could have it
in little over a week!!   :-)

Before I take the plunge though, believe it or not there are actually a
couple of downsides to changing to ADSL!  :-(

- No support for H323, so no chance of using Netmeeting (or many other
standards based videoconferencing software) over it.
- No support for VPN, so no possibility of tunelling back into my server at
home when I'm out and about.
- No inclusive voice all allowance, so although the headline price is
identical to Home Highway (which I currently have), I will lose the
£15/month of call allowance, so it will be at least that much dearer.
- Still a dynamic IP address, - but I guess I would be "likely"
to keep the
same one virtually all of the time... - If it employes standard DHCP it
should always renew the same address after 50% of the lease duration.
- NO NAT (initially) - the FAQ states that the single PC service will not
use NAT at launch, but unfortunately does not give any indication of what
might happen in the future... :-(

Does anyone here already have a BT ADSL service? - If so, how do you find
it?
