Same story with mine, and there are vertical streaks when it
overloads. Very poor, even out of the case (the front plastic piece is
responsible for all the IR reflections. I've improved it a bit by removing
all the IR LEDs, but it's still quite disappointing, much much worse than
the similarly priced board cam from Henrys (but yes, I know the Kingavon
one has a case, cable and PSU, the Henrys one doesn't).
If you want nighttime use, you'd be better with a proper IR illuminator (or
even visible light!)

One of the things that convinced my wife that we should replace the alarm
system was one of the neighbours being threatened with a knife (not that I
live in a ghetto, honest- he was a recently released
'care-in-the-community' victim who apparently hadn't taken his tablets that
day- the police caught him, cuffed him, told him to get in the car, he
replied "What car? Where?"...)
