It isn't for everyone.
It's for people who want fast downloads and who can't get cable or ADSL.

that depends on you ISP - plus your call charges...and of course not
being able to run your own servers etc...actually one of my neighbours has
a system like this - he loves it but I'm not sure it's for the likes of
me.. It really all depends what you want it for. If you are 'out in the
sticks' and just want fast web access then I'd probably go for it.....
mind you seeing all your dishes Mark, you could probably broadcast too ;-)

All these satellite soloutions require an "up" link from your
normal
modem/ISDN.
15 quid a moth plus an ISP charge is still lots less that 40 quid a month
for ADSL.

Yes, EON service has been less than good from what I read. The Star
Speeder
site gos to lengths to try and distance itself from exactly the kind of
problems EON has had.
I think a mate that lives close by is about to order it. Will let you
know
what it's like if he does.
