I t  k Ians suggestions (and help - thanks again for the advice Ian!)
and used a single valve connected to x10 inside, between the supply=20
and the outside tap.

Outside I have used the Hozelock stuff, which as Ian's says costs a=20
fortune, I recon I have spent around =A380 to water the patio pots and=20
then run a pipe down the side of the house to water the front hanging=20
baskets.

I found the starter kits were quite good value though, especially to=20
get hold of the pressure regulator they recommend using and als  the=20
little drippers / sprinklers to water individual pots. (I mainly=20
ended up buying more pipe / connectors).

Overall I am very pleased with the setup and a little bit of fiddling=20
with each of the drippers has meant quite good control over the=20
amount of water used.

I now have this running on for around 7 minutes per day and thats=20
enough to keep all my tubs going.=20

The only thing I would like to be able to add t  this is some sort of=20
weather sensing, i.e. if its raining adjust the amount of water used,=20
or checking the moisture level of the soil....
