That was what I did suggest ... £45 per hour which works out at £360 a day.
However they are saying that we agreed this "I will be available for
you for
the next three months" crap before they made me redundant. I obviously
need
a decent reference from them which is the problem but I don't want to be
being called in to clear up the mess that they've got themselves into by
their own decision to get rid of me and let the studio run itself whilst
the
bosses wife (who was supposed to take it over from me) goes off on holiday
for a month!
I think I'll have to forego the reference and have my solicitor write them
a
letter quoting my redundancy letter from them and pointing out that if they
insist on their current course of action then we would have to report them
to the income tax people for possible attempted tax fraud.
