Ah Idea to improve the sensitivity when using movement detectors to operate lights around the house and help overcome the latency problem.
The Dual Tech movement detectors we use at work are very sensitive on the microwave section, when setting up a jumper is used to link the LED to either the microwave or PIR sections, when setup is finished this is moved to the normal position indicating an alarm condition. Connecting to the jumper pin used for the microwave setup would provide a very sensitive output for motion, it should be possible to interface this directly with a HV input port switching low on detection. This may also overcome the problem a few people have had with interfacing HV to their alarm system without using relays.

Just an idea.
