RE: Home Vision Question

I have an iButton door access system installed and tested except for the
fitting of the mechanical bits of the locks. Using HomeVision I can
identify
which of the seven buttons presented (max) that have been programmed in and
take actions appropriately. I intend to leave in and use the original
mortise lock for two reasons - 1) Wifey likes and trusts it and 2)
insurance. I figure that if all the electric stuff is extra it cannot do
any
harm. I use fail secure electric latches and weird Yale like locks like
those found on petrol station doors.

Basically the only time we will use the manual lock is when we go out for
long periods i.e. work etc. Since Wifey leaves after me and gets home
before
me I won't have to lock/unlock it. Best of both worlds there I hope.
