How about having cams in each room linked to a
PC
with motion detection software that could also recognise the shape of
a
human and indentify if there's anyone on a seat etc...It would also open up
countless other uses for security, identifying specific family members,
ignoring
pets...
What do any of the programming whizz kids
think, is
it possible?

Also - lifting carpets etc for wires is far

perfect too.

Yeah, I have heard of these, and I'm familiar with the
claims of their
capabilities...
But I have just one or two
problems with this at the moment:...
1) They are not here! - they
are
just vapourware at the moment...
2) I >believe< their
effectiveness
is dependant on having loads of aerials
buried in the room (as someone
else mentioned...) - there is no chance I'm
going to (re) re-plaster a
room to get a load of wire mesh in the walls...
3) even if both of the
above are solved, - there is no demostrable proof
thet they will work,
so until I've seen one in operation, and it's been
demonstrated to
work,
then I'll reserve judgement, and not get my hopes up
too
high...
