Title: 802.11 wireless question
We also have a few more channels then them. The power thing is probably down to the EU. I know that in the US RC transmitters put out 500mW IIRC, in the UK we are limited to 100mW again IIRC - the point is they get way more power!

Ive just spoke to Dlink support, who said they are compatible. One thing they did say is the US equipment sends a stronger signal so has a better range than European equipment. He said European equipment is upto 100mW vs US euipment which is upto 1000mW. Not sure how true this is?

Thanks for your help guys!

Should do ... 802.11 is an agreed Standard spec.

Does anyone here know if 802.11 wireless cards purchased in the US will work with an 802.11 access point purchased in the UK, assuming they are from the same manufacture? Do they use the same spec/frequency/etc? Anyone done this?

TIA

Craig
