Under Linux 2.4:
Hauppauge WinTV card or other Bt8x8 compatible card
plus w3camd - built in web client generates jpg on demand
or videodog - writes jpg to disk, then you have to serve it by some
other means.
I've also been recommended camserv, but haven't tried it myself.
When I was fiddling with this I wasted a lot of time with bttvgrab -
and never succeeded in getting it to work.
