Neil,

What would you like HS to do in response to x-y position?
Would it be something like if the 'stick' was all the way left then A1 on,
all the way right A1 off. Or would you need to have different things happen
depending on the 'in-between' position?

My main objective though was to be able to connect sensors & switches
to the
game port, actually using a game device doesn't seem much use to me (my HS
PC is in the loft!). Might be a bit more useful when I get it working over
a
network though.

It wasn't my script BTW. I didn't want to use the scripting interface as to
have an immediate response to button presses the script would have to be
running all the time which IMO isn't such a good idea. The alternative
would
be to have a script check for button presses every minute! Not much use
really, and certainly no use for momentary operation.
