I'm not sure about the waterproof remote, but there is of course no reason
why the unit actually has to be in the bathroom. You could have it located
outside the bathroom with speakers inside and pass IR commands to it via
and
extender (I would go for the wired ones as built here). The other thing is
this removes the potential problem of where to plug it in, remember there
are not supposed to be and 240V outlets in a bathroom.
