I use Tag&Rename for this purpose too, but I actually do 2 passes. the
first
pass I tell Tag&Rename that the filename contains track number and
title,
this gets the track number tag filled. The second pass I tell it that the
filename contains only title, this gets the title filled with the filename.
There is one draw back, using track number at the start of title means that
you can no longer search by title (unless you know what track number it is)
this is fine for me as I almost always search by artist or album. I also
have recorded all my stuff at 192 and it seems fine to me (about 3000
tracks
in 25Gb).
