If you can ping the card, then the network stack is running against
the card ok. Whatever problems you are having with browsing to the
EPOD is almost certainly unrelated to the network card IMO. When I
was fiddling with this, I found I could connect from the epod using
the command prompt and specifying IP addresses (eg. //192.168.0.8/c$)
to connect. Have you tried this? Are the EPODs in the same workgroup
as the rest of your machines?
