Ah you could argue that the reason the busses take so long is the fact that
the cars are in the way!!! and the fact that the busses keep stopping to
pick people up!

Cant you use a laptop and drive at the same time then? I have seen lorry
drivers on motorways reading newspapers spread across their steering
wheels!

ROFL!  As an example ... it costs me £9 to get to/from work each day by
public transport.  The petrol costs for me are under £6.  By car, journey
time is 45-60 minutes, but by bus/train it's 80 minutes in the morning, and
80-100 minutes in the evening.  Once they make public transport a viable
solution, I'll start using it.
