Yay, you fargin bar stewards!!

OK. Calm down.

Tonight, having found that ToysRUs were only sending me one STB instead of
the two that I ordered, I popped to my local store and managed to pick one
up.

Connected it up and logged into BushInternet - strike 1.

Changed ISP params and logged into Demon - strike 2.

Spent the next 2 hours p*ing around with Routing and Remote Access on one
of
my W2k servers.

STB plugged into one extension of my PBX. Dials another extension of my PBX
that is connected to the server via a modem.

I'M IN - Strike 3 - BushInternet.com - you're outa here!

Tomorrow (or maybe Friday, I'm out tomorrow night), I've got to sort out
the
routing, 'cos DNS isn't working properly at the mo and I'm too tired to do
it now, but I have managed to surf web sites on my own network.

With the routing sorted, I'll be connecting to the Internet via ADSL
(though
only at 33k6 'cos of the modem).

So, if you've got a PBX, you can connect it up using RAS for free.

I'm going to bed a happy man :-)

Steve
