Personally if you are going above ground why noy just string to
catineries,
one for power and one for data. Make sure that the power cable is external
grade (like screwfixes 3 core FROST CABLE which is frost and UV protected ,
do
not run normal T&E as the sheathing is not UV protected and will
degrade.
As for the CAT5 again most of this stuff is not external grade and will
degrade. You can get external grade CAT5 cable but it is quite expensive.
Better to run several strands inside some commercial hosepipe (the yellow
or
black stuff, not the green transparent stuff) and clip this to the
catinery.
Alternatively if you are going underground i would run 2 lots of 2 1/2 inch
waste pipe (with the joints cement welded) one for power and one for Data
with
a pulling tape left permanantly installed in both incase you need to pull
cables in future.
