I kid you not!!!!

Whatever IR transmitter is on my Pronto is just fantastic. I've had it
sitting on a couch, *facing backwards at the cushions* and it's still
run a timer macro I had to turn things on in time for the morning
weather report (and then off again afterwards). I've additionally had
it on a shelf facing the wall and it still turned everything on okay.

Maybe this was a bit of luck, but I have been impressed at its
capabilities.
