I believe the CLI modem options are as follows:

Hayes ( I think it the Accura External Voice modem)
Pace (as already stated Pace have gone bust
or the 3COM / US Robotics 56K professional message modem.

Please note I have no experience of the Hayes modem. I do own both the PACE
and 3com.

If you want it for Homeseer then the Pace modem isn't 100% compatible with
TAPI so it don't work - that ends that one.

If you want it for Homeseer and you are not using W2K as your platform then
the 3com modem works. if you run W2k for Homeseer in my experience none of
them work.

The 3com modem can be purchased from PC World for around ?120 (ouch) but
there are two versions of the same model, the one that supports CLI
correctly is the 5625-01 do not get the 5625-00 as it DOES NOT support cli.

confused I was!

Guys

I'm being a bit lazy, but I've searched around for a few of the CLI
compatible
modems on the Keware site, but not having much luck.

Does anybody know what UK available modems are OK to use (and don't cost
silly
money)?

Cheers

Pete
