Certainly spooks me! I saw a program on Discovery Channel last night about
this sort of cyborg type thingy (Personal Enhancements), the conclusion
they came to was that at first we'd probably only see things like this
used in medical applications. The mnore they were used in this way the
more they would become acceptable, and useable by anyone. I have enough
problems with my MS PC -, I'm not about to let them messwith my body.

I am convinced that tagging is the way to go, but it needs to be
invasive, which is where it gets icky, and "biological"

what I have considered (but haven't found someone to answer the long
temr safety concerns) is using the same tagging technology used on lab
rabbits, or indeed expensive pets, of placing a small glass bead with a
transponder in it under the skin, just as Kevin "Captain Cyborg"
Warwick has done (except without the apocalyptic streak)

It would be really handy, like taking an ibutton to the next level:
keys you simplay cannot ever forget to take with you.....

Does this spook people, or do you see it as a possibility (I am
interested in people's response)
