It's 2 concurrent users in admin mode not 3... but the point is that with
valid NT4TS licences I have to purchase more Win2k licences to achieve the
same thing.

Dirvers should be not be installed in user mode (CHANGE USER/INSTALL).
they need to be system wide with only one instance. You CAN install things
whilst not in user node provided you and your users understand that you
will be using the same application space - eg if VB creates a temp file
for user 1 aqnd user 2 deletes/modifies the file then you'll screw up user
1's vb.

forgive me if I'm telling you what you already know...

A.

According to advice on the ePODs board, W2K can be configured to provide
terminal services in 'admin' mode, which limits you to 3 licenses at no
additional cost?

As a tip for anyone planning to install Terminal Services to play with,
based on my experience with NT4, there are a few gotchas. You *must* put
TS
into 'app install mode' before installing applications, otherwise you can
get really screwy results. Under NT4TS, do this by dropping to a command
prompt and running "CHANGE USER /INSTALL".

I also found plenty of stuff plain didn't like TS - e.g. VB6 and scanner
drivers/software.
