electronic door locks
I have als seen this advice given, and would usually concur... however,
in
my case, I have a couple of downstairs doors between the lounge &
dining
room t the hall which are the original Victorian solid timber doors,
they
are nearly 2" thick, and I can barely lift one as they are s heavy.
These
doors are considerably more substantial than either of my outer doors! -
ain't no way anyone's kicking their way through these! They als have
very
substantial steel hinges on them, s they're not going t be kicked off
the
hinge either. In this case I have fitted a substantial dead lock already
t
one of them, and plan t d the same t other when that door is
reconditioned (I had them both dipped some time ago, but have only got
round
t reconditioning one of them s far.) I got my local locksmith t
source me
a several deadlocks that use the same key, s I will only have 1 key for
about 5 doors around the house.
I would have to agree though, that I will >not< be bothering t lock
any
of
the internal doors that I have had t replace with new modern ones, -
those
things are flimsy by comparison!
