Hints:
1)
Remove any plastic bags - dead giveaway of new t ys.
2)
Anything that doesn't have batteries in it which should have has t be new
- if
it has t have batteries put in Duracells so that it looks like you've had
it
long enough t have used the "name" set that came with it
new.
3) An
attic crawling with spiders is a good thing when the wife is scared of
them.
4)
Hide new t ys in places where she's never likely to find them - in my case
this
is in the garage, in the attic, in the airing cupboard, in the washing
machine
or in the cupboard where we keep the hoover.
5)
Soaps are not an annoying 30 minutes where you can't watch "Men and motors"
or
whatever - it's a safe haven when you're not going t be discovered
bringing in
the latest t y.
6)
Pronto's are an essential item - before you buy one spend time producing
your
CCF with ProntoEdit and get it as near perfected as possible by testing on
the
emulator. Then all you have to do is pipe over your config and learn the
controls and you're away. *DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES LOAD AN UNTESTED
CCF
INTO YOUR PRONTO* The pronto won't care a bit but if anything doesn't work
right
it'll put the missuses back up and she'll hate it. Get it right and - like
with
me - if it ever breaks she'll be demanding another!
