Its very simple. It was one of my first HA project about 7 years
ago.
Installed mainly because the property is on 3 floors and the PBX (private
branch
exchange) saves a lot of leg work. Its actually a kind SWMBO automation
project
as i now dial her extension and say 'When you next come up - can you bring
xyz
etc' Apart from the obvious of passing incoming calls t the appropiate
location
and as it is usually when i am in my top office (the loo) pants round
ankles etc
I put phones in the bathrooms.
Check out solwise they used t do them.
Technology
has moved on and i would consider upgrading as it doesn't pass CID to
extensions. Mine is a two wire system and extensions must be master
sockets.
Uses all standard phone, faxes, modems etc.
Steve.

Subject: [ukha_d] internal phone
systems..
Guys, I've only just
joined list & am very new t the HA thing so go easy :) I'm
considering
how easy it would t link up various regular phones on a simple system.
Just so they can talk to each other (seperately would be very
cool..but..;)).
Anyone had any experience of doing this? Any
pointers?
:)
Matthew
