Windows media encoder 8 should do the trick nicely.

I hate M$, but I hate real more ;)

at a guess, you would need something t  compress the video input t  a
reasonable bandwidth and stream it t  the PC's.

RealServer is probably worth a look. Although t  do it in realtime, you
would need a very high end machine t  do the compression/streaming.

I can only imagine it is not straightforward :/

If I ever get a cable splitter for my ntl cable, I will be doing
something
similar so would be interested in any results you get :)
