Depends on what you want to do. There are a few options. Number one is to
buy a cable modem router. NetGear RT314 is suitable for this. Number two
is to plug into uplink (or use crossover) on your hub/switch. This way you
will have to register the MAC address of all client PC's you wish to
connect. Blueyonder have a limit of 5 MAC addresses. Number 3 is to use a
dual NIC setup with software routing (Windows/Mac/Linux). Personally I
wouldn't go for proxy unless it was going to do full on IP routing,
allowing
port mapping/filtering, etc. However, I do have a cacheing proxy to speed
up (even more) oft used web sites.
