I have not seen a answer from Keith, but I would think initial
protypes would be through hole, although I have no problem with SMT,
the rabbit core is almost all SMT, I have done the odd repair but my
eyes are not good enough to do lots of SMT. I also find debuging code
is difficult because it is not easy to hook onto a leg with the
probes I have

I am sure we could use your help, if you have not already got a SF ID
