Assuming a PC consumes 100w once running ... that's 100 x 24 = 2400w or
roughly 2.5kw per day.

(Please correct me if my maths is wrong.)

That's a litle over 900kw a year (912.5) and assuming 5p per kw (I have no
idea what electricity is per unit - we just use what we need) then that's
£45.63 per year.
