I have not used the clipsal plates, or any other that allow more than two
rj45's, but I have done a lot of CAT5 terminations and I would stronly
recommend maximum of 2 in a single gang and four in a two gang. Any more
and
you will have more difficulty terminating neatly, you will have problems
securing wires with cable ties, you may not be able to use tools easily and
you will probably have difficulty putting the plate on to the box with the
sheer pressure of all the wires. Personally I insist upon Krone fittings,
but that is because I need convenience and reliability over pure aethetics.
