This is incorrect. The built-in appliance module in the TM12 is
essentially a standard X-10 Appliance Module except that its unit address
is always 1 regardless of which house code is selected. The TM12 also has
status response function for reporting back the status of the appliance
module. ie. On or off. The TM12 is similar to the newer 110V RR501 that
has all 16 units RF receiving capability.
