This is a bit of a long one so here is the condensed version.
I separated the bus from the local receivers and linked then into the local
transmitter using logic gates. I made a couple of PCB's this weekend for
final testing and as soon as I get some time......... It worked on the
breadboard although I don't know if it still controlled anything as I was
using a visible LED so I could see what was happening. I did this pretty
much all on my own although I will send details and pics to Nigel when
everything is finished.
The only down side is, assuming they work, they are designed for only one
Tx
per room. I can send you more info soon (when I know the test results). The
extra components are 3 chips (AND, OR, NOT), two diodes, 1 resistor and a
tranny or thereabouts. Total cost of not very much. The boards however
suddenly got all complicated.
I think they can be added to the current transmitters assuming nothing
drastic changes (like a daughter board). It will mean cutting a track or
two
and a little soldering but hey, not bad for an afterthought.

How have you implemented the feedback protection? Did Nigel help with the
circuit? Is it radically different or just a 'few' extra components?
Having finally sorted RF distribution I know need IR distribution. I was
about to order some boards from you but as you know, feedback protection is
something I would like in this system.
I'm keen to know more, keep us informed.
