I reckon, from an electrical safety point of view, that is the same drill.
The fire service literally rip out what they have to and can just close the
main source of power down at source if needed.

On a more serious note, where do you stand with the Fire Brigade? Does
having push button switches which rely on smart  electronics to turn off
the
power cause issues, or is the situation for Fire Fighters the same?
