The Omnicubes are nice, we use them at work.
The Linksys KVM switch I was recommended by someone on this list from
Buy.com works fantastically well (including a nifty keyboard short
cut to switch ports) and it both small & self powered - but is a bit
of a spiders web with connectors sticking out at every angle.
I don't think the cables were that bad (5 quid a set, IIRC) again,
from Buy.com
