Top 5 gadgets seeking attention in my home (in order of purchase):

1. Davis instruments weather station, been out of the box once, got the anenometer up to an impressive 78mph, back in box waiting to be installed.
2. Homevision, an expensive piece of kit for warming up the lava lamp*
3. 2x wireless ePod
4. Dopey, the loveable Sony Aibo
5. Newly received KAT 5 TX+RX boxes

*OK, so the homevision does do a little more than warm up the lava lamp, but like most homevision owners; you program it and leave it to do its job, then think about improving your schedule, but never do.

I can foresee attention being given in the reverse order of purchase.

Until I met you Phil, I thought I had the biggest pile of underused gadgets
:)

I've actually just dug out an amazing piece of kit, that I haven't used for
a while. Before I had my accident one of my hobbies was full-bore rifle
shooting. I started when at school during the summer term instead of Cricket
(not that I don't like cricket, but I'm better at Shooting). I continued it
while in the TA.

Since the accident, rifle shooting isn't really an option, so I now have a
competition Air Pistol - don't laugh, there's a picture of it here
http://www.gehmann.de/morini_e.htm Trying to work out what is wrong when
someone's shooting is really difficult so I came across a piece of kit
developed by members of the Russian Olympic team, The SCATT Solution -
details here http://www.scatt.com/english/default.asp. Instead of using a
laser on the barrel, it uses four IR transmitters on the target, and a
receiver mounted on the weapon. I only wish it had been available when I was
trying to coach the junior members when I was at School, life would have
been so much easier.

Top that one!

He who dies with the most toys wins :)

Tim.
