Yeah, I *Love* that intro. I previously used the opening battle sequence of
Gladiator as the system demo, but now it's the T2 THX "slide". I
think our
system is now constrained by the size of the house!

As a question for you projector'ed guys... Do you still go the pictures?

Myself and Jenni are still using a CRT TV: a goodmans 336NS which has a
brilliant picture, guff sound (as if anyone cares when you plug it into
your
surround sound system?) and dirt cheap.

Point it, even with that, we saw "The Dish" yesterday at the
Odeon in
Springfield, Glasgow.

The sound was flat and uninspired. The speakers were the same JBLs that my
mate has in his living room, and the screen had poor contrast. the video
jumped and had *horrible* quality problems of floating dust etc...

It's reaching the stage where I find the "big screen" experience
terrible,
anywhere except "screen 1"

Can you guys sit through a movie at the cinema without screaming?
