I must agree with the other posts
HomeVision only lets me down if I play /modify it
Left on its own it just works
It handles power cuts, catching up where it has to ignoringg when it has
been told to.
If there were a way of porting ACE to a stand alone operation which was
then
interogated by a PC I would be a happy man
I need ACE as my interface between Comfort and Homevision and the weak like
in the connection is the PC.

PS What's an iron ?

As Ian said....

get a HomeVison.

Mine has failed to run the wake-up routine twice in about 3 years. On both
occasions I know the EXACT cause.... the electricity company's inability to
supply me with power (aka Power Cut). This menat that it didnt matter that
HomeVision didnt work because there was nothing for it to control anyway!

Other than that, it is only ever down whilst making hardware or software
changes. Great bit of kit.

I cant iron, I've tried but the stuff looks worse when I finish than when I
started. If I put on something neatly ironed, its creased to buggery when i
get out of the car anyway. I now choose clothing that gets stretched across
my bulk thereby pulling any creases out :-)
