Re: Car Heater control ?

Start the car and leave the engine running for 10 mins, that usually works.

Any 12v heater is going to hammer the battery and you need that well topped up to start on a cold morning.

There used to be a 240v device that you plumbed into the heater circuit that kept the water warm. Giving you instant heat from the car heater and fuel ecomny improvement.

Subject: [ukha_d] Car Heater control ?

Does anyone have any bright ideas on how to heat the inside of the car up first thing in the morning?

Ideally I would have a 12V heater in the car controlled in some wireless way from the house, and somehow bridged to Homeseer.

Any thoughts appreciated.
