BT ADSL upgrade

I have been thinking about upgrading from BT home highway to their ADSL
service. BT say they have a process for this, but it is not clear what
happens to my voice service.
I assume they connect the ISDN 'analogue' voice line number back to a true
analogue voice line, then connect ADSL in the standard way.
Anybody know if this true of false? If it is not correct, have I lost the
voice service?
